Will Beer Money Breakup?
August 23rd 2011 03:20
Between Beer Money losing the TNA World Tag Team Titles to Mexican America this past week on Impact Wrestling and the ongoing Bound for Glory Series some wrestling fans wonder if Robert Roode and James Storm will separate. I know on the wrestling forum I frequent (Rajah) posters want to see Beer Money separate because both Storm and Roode possess single star potential. The Bound for Glory Series’ competitive nature seems like an ideal way to create a rift between Robert Roode and James Storm too but will the split happen?
You can obtain some insight on Robert Roode and James Storm’s futures by watching the “Why Wrestling Matters” profiles TNA posted on Youtube. Storm shows content for his career path saying “Some people want to be heavyweight champion. Me, I love being a tag team wrestler and a tag team champion.” Still Storm mentioned a desire to become World Heavyweight Champion. Roode showed more ambition to become a singles star stating “I have proved myself as a tag wrestler and it’s time to prove myself sometime as a singles wrestler.”
If they end up staying together, Beer Money can thrive as a career tag team. The chemistry Roode and Storm enjoy together makes the duo entertaining to watch. Making a name in tag team wrestling today shouldn’t get frowned upon either. Beer Money raised appreciation for tag team wrestling, truly a lost art, and that should be considered quite an achievement.
