Total Non-Stop Action!

TNA stands for Total Non-Stop Action and that is exactly what TNA delivered on the most recent episode of iMPACT! There was not a wasted segment on the show. Everything had a purpose. The highlight had to be the Main Event Mafia joining forces with World Elite and the resulting aftermath. The brawl in the middle of show between the MEM/World Elite faction and TNA was a crazy attention grabber. I was afraid to change the channel during commercial because I didn’t want to miss anything.
After everything was contained, TNA kept going strong with in-ring action. The Knockouts tag team match was some of the best knockout action since the Flash/Sarita match last month. AJ Styles and Matt Morgan put on another good showing in their best of three series. Sting’s match with Brutus Magnus was your average television match leaving me with no complaints.
What I liked the most about the main event was the match’s aftermath. The MEM and World Elite returned to the ring outnumbering Mick Foley, Sting, and Bobby Lashley. TNA was able to even up the sides when Hernandez ran down with a chain in hand. The MEM and World Elite members cleared the ring making Hernandez look like a million bucks.
If TNA can keep up the successful push of Hernandez, Hernandez might be credible enough to main event this year’s “Bound for Glory”, TNA’s version of “Wrestlemania”. Hernandez could cash in his title shot from “Feast or Fired” and challenge Kurt Angle at “Bound for Glory” for the TNA Heavyweight Title. As a wrestling fan that is the match I want to see main event “Bound for Glory” but only time will tell what plans TNA has in store for us.
