The Gregory Iron Royal Rumble Petition
November 17th 2011 19:40
Last week I posted about Pro Wrestling Ohio’s own “Handicapped Hero” Gregory Iron after the wrestler announced his intentions to petition the WWE for a spot in the 2012 Royal Rumble. The petition is now active online at http://act.ly/4og. Before heading over to give your support, here’s some food for thought on why Gregory Iron deserves this shot.
For starters, recent media attention for Gregory Iron reveals his extreme dedication. SI.com’s Dan Greene last week wrote a piece profiling “The Handicapped Hero.” In the piece Greene informs us Iron recently lost his day job after a confrontation with his boss over Iron’s wrestling ambitions. On his way to interview on Fox & Friends Weekend the grappler’s beat up car finally tapped out. Yet “The Handicapped Hero” still managed to make the interview (watch here). Nothing seems powerful enough to break Gregory Iron’s will and stop him from chasing his dreams.
Furthermore, “The Handicapped Hero” possesses talent. Inside the ring he doesn’t come across as someone wanting pity. Instead he’s a competitor, looking to take on all challenges. For instance, check out Bobby Beverly vs. Gregory Iron. When cutting promos Iron handles himself confidently, giving you the feeling he could hold his own with the biggest superstars in the wrestling industry. So, will you give “The Handicapped Hero” an opportunity to shine along with the best and sign Gregory Iron’s Royal Rumble petition?
