Good day to readers of seekextreme.com and welcome to the new seekextreme! Yesterday you noticed three posts about professional wrestling have been transferred over to here. Those blogs came from my Wrestling 101 blog. Orble.com had offered my Wrestling 101 blog a promotion to its own domain. I had a choice of many inactive domains and seekextreme.com is the one I picked. So no longer will seekextreme.com be about extreme sports. Instead I’m going to focus on professional wrestling.
I picked this domain for a reason. I grew up in the 1990s meaning I grew up when the wrestling business was at its peak. I watched both the then WWF (now WWE) and WCW. But I never was as passionate for either company as I was for ECW- Extreme Championship Wrestling. ECW had everything from hardcore brawls to mat classics to unbelievable lucha libre. The company could put on stellar shows.
Since 2001 when ECW and WCW both went out of business I have watched wrestling on and off for periods of time. In 2004 I started watching TNA Wrestling on a regular basis. My attention started to drift from TNA in 2008 but I’m starting to get back into the product. I’m also starting to try and get back into the WWE as well. What I’m looking for (or seeking) is to be thrilled watching wrestling the same way Extreme Championship Wrestling thrilled me back in the day. Basically I’m seeking the extreme.
