Since then Danny has gone on to take home a pair of X-Games Gold Medals in the Big Air competition. Earning a reputation for his dedication, at this years Games he broke his foot in a violent stack but still managed to out skate the competition and seal a Silver medal.
His achievements come as no surprise though when you look at his resume and notice he was enlisted into the coveted Bones Brigade at just 14 years old. Winning his first vert competition a year later, in 1994 he broke his neck in a freak surf accident.
Still he healed quickly and within 12 months had won the Tampa Pro Vert Tournament. A poster boy for conquering pain Danny Way makes sure his stunts are memorable.
