In my last post I spent a lot of time explaining why I chose the domain name seekextreme. Something else I wanted to talk about but never was able to get around to was my credentials for being a professional wrestling blogger. I feel it is important to keep the writer in mind whenever you are reading somebody’s words, whether it is a research report or a simple blog.
I am no stranger to writing or to professional wrestling. I have been a fan of professional wrestling since I can remember. Growing up in the 1990s was a perfect time to be a wrestling fan too because their were three national promotions with lots to offer- World Wrestling Federation (now known as World Wrestling Entertainment), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). Today I keep tabs on the WWE mainly through the internet and watch Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) Wrestling on a regular basis. I’m trying to get back into watching the WWE regularly too.
Writing is the passion in my life. I recently graduated from Notre Dame College of Ohio and I am looking to make a career in writing. At NDC I blogged for the college’s website www.notredamecollege.edu and wrote for their student newspaper, The Notre Dame News, running the newspaper for my final two years there. Since 2007 I have written a regular column for www.tnawrestlingnews.com entitled The Hardcore Truth.
I also am a content producer for Associated Content. I have had a few wrestling related articles published on their website. I left the links below in case anyone wants to take a look.
